Brass Hollow rod

At Rudra Corporation, we specialize in manufacturing and exporting high-quality brass hollow rods that offer the perfect combination of strength, machinability, and corrosion resistance. Designed for versatility, our hollow rods are ideal for precision components, plumbing applications, and decorative finishes, delivering both functionality and aesthetics.

What is a Brass Hollow Rod?

A brass hollow rod is a tubular brass product with a hollow center and cylindrical shape, also commonly called brass tube or brass pipe (depending on size and use). It is widely used where strength, corrosion resistance, and conductivity are needed in a lightweight, hollow form.

Manufacturing Process of Brass Hollow Rods

  1. Extrusion
    • Heated brass billets are pushed through a hollow die.
    • The die forms the outer diameter and inner hollow section simultaneously.
    • Produces seamless hollow rods with uniform wall thickness.
  2. Cold Drawing
    • Hollow extruded rods are pulled through smaller dies to refine size, improve surface finish, and mechanical properties.
    • Can be drawn multiple times with intermediate annealing.
  3. Casting and Machining (less common)
    • Hollow rods can be cast, but machining the hollow section later is inefficient and costly.
